The sound quality is unbelievable and you wouldn't know the originals were vinyl as there is no hiss, scratching or background noise - the sound is just perfect! Would highly recommend John if you wanted to transfer your prized record collection onto CD.' John was somehow able to pull off the impossible and both extract the entire recording and greatly improve its clarity, while causing no damage at all to the coating. The recording was made in 1945 by my grandfather while he was serving in India and is in extremely poor condition, bent out of shape with peeling coating. I recently commissioned John to digitise a very fragile 78 record (acetate on aluminium).
